Oval Copper Natla Washing Cup

A modern washing cup with a hassle-free design, this is fully handcrafted in a combination of brass and copper. Ovoid in shape with clean contours and an all-over hammered finish, the cup has two broad smooth handles on either side. Washing cups or “Negal Vassa” as they are referred to in Yiddish, are used for the time-honored Jewish tradition of washing hands before breaking bread. The ritual of ‘Netilat Yadayim’ or hand washing is customarily performed before eating meals containing bread, by pouring water over hands from a cup, exclusive to the purpose.
