Roman Glass Necklaces
Our Roman glass necklaces incorporate authentic ancient glass fragments along the chain, not just as a single pendant. From approved excavations in Israel, each iridescent piece is hand-set in our Jerusalem workshop in 14K gold or sterling silver. Choose single-stone, station-style, or graduated collars, with an Israel Antiquities Authority certificate.

Handcrafted Gold & Silver Roman Glass Necklace from Jerusalem
Where a Roman glass pendant focuses attention on a single stone, a Roman glass necklace lets the patina move along the line of the chain. The format suits buyers who want the iridescence visible at multiple points rather than concentrated in one centre, and it lends itself well to layered styling with other gold or silver chains.
Our Roman glass necklace collection includes three primary styles. The single-stone necklace presents one fragment in a bezel setting suspended from a fine chain, ideal for everyday wear and easy layering. The station necklace spaces several smaller fragments at regular intervals along the chain, giving a textured visual without a single dominant centre. The graduated collar uses progressively larger Roman glass stones from the clasp to the centre, producing a statement piece for special occasions.
All chains are solid 14K or 18K gold or sterling silver, sized to standard 16, 18, or 20 inch lengths with custom lengths available at checkout. Because every fragment is unique, each necklace is photographed individually and the listed item is the exact piece you receive. A certificate of authenticity from the Israel Antiquities Authority accompanies every necklace, and worldwide shipping ships from our Jerusalem workshop.
