Handcrafted Judaica & Jewelry for Shabbat from Jerusalem
Shabbat is the oldest weekly ritual in continuous practice anywhere in the world. From the moment the candles are lit eighteen minutes before sundown on Friday to the moment Havdalah ends the day on Saturday night, the household runs on a different rhythm than the working week. The objects used in that rhythm (candlesticks, Kiddush cups, Challah boards, spice boxes, Havdalah candles) become some of the most cherished pieces of personal Judaica in any family.
Our Shabbat collection covers the full ritual arc. For Friday night lighting: Shabbat candlesticks in Yemenite filigree, classical European, and modern contemporary forms, sold as matched pairs or larger family sets at gradient sizes. For the Friday night and Saturday morning meal: Kiddush cups in sterling silver, silver-plated bronze, and 14K gold, often paired with matching trays; Challah boards in hardwood, sterling silver, or combination materials; embroidered Challah covers and matching Challah knives. For Saturday night Havdalah: three-piece sets containing a Kiddush cup, a spice box (besamim), and a braided-candle holder, in matched silver designs.
Shabbat-themed jewelry is its own sub-section: pendants engraved with the Hebrew word "Shabbat," the verses recited at the Friday night kiddush, or the prayer for peace recited as the candles are lit. Many of our customers commission personal pieces for their first Shabbat as a married couple, the first Shabbat in a new home, or to mark a specific Shabbat of family significance. Every piece in the collection is made to order in our Jerusalem workshop, can be engraved with Hebrew names and dates, and ships worldwide with a certificate of authenticity.
