Handcrafted Jewish Gifts for Children
Gifting jewelry to a child works differently than gifting to an adult. The piece needs to be safe (rounded edges, secure clasps), appropriate to the child's age (smaller scale, shorter chains), and durable enough to survive everyday wear by someone who is not yet careful with their belongings. Our Jewish gifts for children collection is designed around exactly those constraints.
The collection covers ages roughly three to twelve, the period between early childhood and Bar or Bat Mitzvah. For girls: small Star of David charm necklaces in 14K gold or sterling silver on a shorter chain (typically 14 inches), Hebrew name pendants sized appropriately for a younger neckline, Hamsa charms in delicate everyday sizes, and sterling silver bangles engraved with a Hebrew name. For boys: small Star of David pendants on a child-sized chain, Chai pendants in sterling silver, Hebrew name ID bracelets in solid gold or silver, and small signet rings engraved with the boy's Hebrew initials.
Personal Judaica is also represented. A child's Shabbat candle holder, scaled smaller for younger hands, allows a child to participate in the weekly Friday night ritual with their own piece. A small personal Kiddush cup, often a gift at a Jewish first birthday or a Hebrew naming, becomes one of the longest-held objects from childhood. Every piece is made to order or selected from inventory in our Jerusalem workshop, can be engraved with the child's Hebrew name, and ships worldwide with gift wrapping available. For Bar and Bat Mitzvah specifically, see our dedicated Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah collections.
