Moroccan Bangles

Our Moroccan bangles draw on the centuries-old tradition of North African Jewish silversmithing, brought to Israel by Moroccan-Jewish artisans in the 1950s and 1960s. Crafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver, brass, or 14K gold, with options to engrave Hebrew names, dates, or Sephardic blessings.

Moroccan Silver & Gold Bangles

Moroccan-Jewish silversmiths produced some of the most distinctive jewelry in the Mediterranean world for centuries. The cities of Fez, Marrakech, Rabat, and Essaouira each developed slightly different styles, but the overall tradition is recognizable: heavy sculptural bangles, intricate engraved patterns combining geometric and floral motifs, and a strong taste for both silver and gold. When Moroccan Jews immigrated to Israel in large numbers in the 1950s and 1960s, many silversmiths brought their craft with them, and workshops in Jerusalem and Beersheba continue the tradition today.

Our Moroccan bangles collection works directly with artisans of that tradition. The most classical pieces are solid sterling silver bangles with deeply engraved geometric patterns running around the outer surface, often combined with raised dots or stylized florals at the edges. Heavier statement pieces use a wider band and incorporate Hebrew lettering (Sephardic blessings, the wearer's name in traditional Hebrew calligraphy) along the inner surface. Gold variations follow the same vocabulary in 14K yellow gold for those who prefer a warmer tone.

Sizing is important for bangles because the band is rigid; we offer multiple inner diameters and can size custom pieces to the wearer's wrist measurement at checkout. Every Moroccan bangle is made to order in our Jerusalem workshop and ships worldwide with a certificate of authenticity. Engraving on the inner surface adds a Hebrew name, date, or short Sephardic blessing on request.
