Handcrafted Passover Judaica Gifts from Jerusalem

Passover is the most universally observed Jewish holiday. The Seder (the ritual meal on the first night, and the second in the diaspora) brings families together for an evening that lasts well into the night, organized around the Haggadah (the text read aloud during the meal). The objects used at the Seder are among the most cherished pieces of family Judaica because they reappear year after year, often passed down across generations.

Our Passover collection covers each element. The Seder plate (handled in detail in our Seder Plates sub-collection) holds the six symbolic foods (shankbone, egg, bitter herbs, bitter vegetable, sweet paste, green vegetable); designs range from classical engraved sterling silver to hand-painted ceramic by Israeli artists. The Eliyahu cup (a larger, more dramatic cup placed at the table and filled with wine for the prophet Elijah, traditionally believed to visit every Seder) is often the centerpiece, frequently engraved with the Hebrew phrase "Eliyahu HaNavi" (Elijah the Prophet). Matzah holders and covers (three-tier embroidered or silver-trimmed holders for the three matzot used during the Seder) complete the table.

Personal Kiddush cups for the four cups of wine drunk during the Seder are increasingly popular as Passover gifts, particularly engraved with the Hebrew name and the Hebrew year of the gift. For Seder hosts, our most-requested gifts are sterling silver Seder plates engraved on the underside with the recipient's name, large Eliyahu cups engraved with the Hebrew year, and matched matzah covers in silver-embroidered Jerusalem silk. Every piece is made to order in our Jerusalem workshop and ships worldwide. We recommend placing orders for Passover-specific items by mid-February to ensure delivery before the holiday.
