Rosh Hashanah Jewelry
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, opens the High Holy Days. The festival centers on symbolic foods (apples and honey, pomegranates, round Challah) and the sounding of the shofar. Our collection includes honey dishes, apple and honey sets, pomegranate-themed Judaica, shofar holders, and "Shana Tova" jewelry, made in Jerusalem.

Handcrafted Rosh Hashanah Jewelry Gifts
Rosh Hashanah opens the Jewish year. Beginning at sundown on the first of Tishrei (typically falling in September), the festival lasts two days and is followed by the ten days of repentance and Yom Kippur. The two evenings of Rosh Hashanah meals are built around symbolic foods: apples dipped in honey while reciting the prayer for a sweet new year, pomegranates whose many seeds are said to recall the many mitzvot of the Torah, round Challah symbolizing the cycle of the year, and the head of a fish or lamb evoking the wish that the new year be one in which we are heads rather than tails.
Our Rosh Hashanah collection is organized around these elements. The honey dish (a small covered silver or ceramic bowl, often shaped as an apple or a beehive, with a built-in honey dipper) is the most universally used Rosh Hashanah object. Apple and honey sets (matched dishes for an apple and honey on the same tray) are common host gifts. Pomegranate-themed Judaica (pomegranate-shaped Kiddush cups, pomegranate Mezuzah cases, pomegranate pendant jewelry in sterling silver and 14K gold) draws on one of the most beloved Rosh Hashanah symbols.
Beyond the foods, the shofar (the ram's horn sounded during Rosh Hashanah morning services) has its own design tradition. We offer shofar holders and display stands for the home, sterling silver shofar pendant jewelry, and Hebrew "Shana Tova" (good year) pendants and bracelets. Round Challah boards (specifically shaped to hold the round Challah used during the High Holy Days) complete the table setting. Every piece is made to order or selected from inventory in our Jerusalem workshop and ships worldwide; we recommend placing Rosh Hashanah orders by early August to ensure delivery before the holiday.
