Tallit Clips
Tallit clips hold the two corners of the Jewish prayer shawl together at the back of the neck. Our clips are handcrafted in our Jerusalem workshop in sterling silver or 14K gold, with Jewish symbols (Star of David, Hamsa, Tablets of the Law, Lion of Judah) or contemporary engraved forms.

Gold & Silver Designed Tallit Clips
The tallit is the prayer shawl worn by Jewish men during morning prayers and on certain festival evenings. The garment is held in place at the back of the neck by tallit clips, a pair of small ornamental clips connected by a chain that runs across the back. The clips are functional (they keep the tallit from sliding off the shoulders during prayer) and visible (they sit at the back of the neck where they are noticed by the congregation), which makes them one of the more thoughtful pieces of Judaica a man can own.
Our tallit clip collection includes both traditional and contemporary designs. Traditional clips feature Jewish symbols rendered in detail on the front face: a Star of David, the Tablets of the Law (luchot), a Lion of Judah, or a Hamsa with central protective stone. Yemenite filigree versions weave fine silver threads into more textured surfaces. Contemporary clips work in cleaner architectural forms, often with raised Hebrew lettering of a prayer verse or the wearer's name on the front face.
Construction is consistent across the collection. The clip mechanism is a tested spring clip rated for the weight of a full wool tallit, the connecting chain is solid sterling silver or 14K gold (matching the clips), and the finish is hallmarked. Bar Mitzvah tallit clips, often engraved with the boy's Hebrew name and the Hebrew date of his ceremony, are one of our most-requested commissions in this category. Wedding sets engraved with the groom's name and wedding date are similarly popular. Every set is made to order in our Jerusalem workshop and ships worldwide with a certificate of authenticity.
