Menorahs
A Hanukkah menorah (Hanukkiah) is lit on each of the eight nights of Hanukkah to commemorate the miracle of the oil in the rededicated Second Temple. Ours are crafted in our Jerusalem workshop and partner Israeli ateliers in sterling silver, silver-plated bronze, or 14K gold, in oil-burning and candle-burning configurations.

Decorative Sterling Silver Hanukkah Menorahs
The eight-branched Hanukkah lamp is technically called a Hanukkiah; the term "Menorah" refers to the seven-branched lamp that stood in the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The Hanukkiah has eight branches for the eight nights of Hanukkah, plus a ninth branch (the shamash, or servant candle) used to light the other eight. Most English-speaking shoppers search for "Hanukkah menorah," so we use both terms on our pages, but the formal distinction is important to many traditional buyers.
Our Hanukkah menorah collection covers the main design traditions. Yemenite-filigree pieces weave fine silver threads into ornate columns and branches, evoking the silversmithing of San'a and feeling particularly traditional. Classical European styles feature taller architectural branches with stylized leaves or floral details, often modeled on the design of the Temple Menorah as depicted on the Arch of Titus. Modern contemporary Hanukkiahs work in cleaner geometric forms with brushed or polished finishes, sometimes asymmetrical or sculptural in unexpected ways. Children's Hanukkiahs with brighter colours and rounded edges are popular gifts for families with young children.
The collection covers both oil-burning and candle-burning configurations. Oil Hanukkiahs (the more traditional form) have small reservoirs at each branch, filled with olive oil and lit with cotton wicks; they produce a softer, longer-burning flame closer to the original miracle. Candle Hanukkiahs use standard Hanukkah candles (sold separately) that fit into holders at each branch; they are easier to use and produce a brighter flame. Sterling silver pieces are hallmarked with the .925 stamp. Every Hanukkiah ships worldwide from our Jerusalem workshop with a certificate of authenticity. Hebrew engraving on the base (the recipient's name and the Hebrew date of the gift) is available at checkout.
