Handcrafer Gold & silver Roman Glass Pendants from Jerusalem

The pendant remains the most popular way to wear Roman glass. The stone is held close to the body where it catches light through the day, and the chain can be adjusted to any neckline. Our Roman glass pendant collection ranges from delicate everyday bezels to large architectural centerpieces designed for layered styling or solo statement wear.

Symbol combinations are a particular strength here. The Roman glass and Star of David pendant pairs an iridescent fragment with a hand-cut Magen David in two-tone gold, joining ancient Jewish identity with archaeological provenance. The Hamsa with Roman glass setting places the glass at the centre of the palm, where the protective eye would traditionally sit. The Jerusalem skyline overlay sets the silhouette of the Old City in two-tone gold above the patina, creating a layered visual that tells two stories at once.

Materials and provenance are documented for every pendant. The glass is sourced from approved Israel Antiquities Authority excavations and comes with an export licence and certificate of authenticity. Settings are solid 14K or 18K gold, or hand-stamped sterling silver, never plated. Chain length can be customized at checkout and the reverse can be engraved with a Hebrew name, date, or dedication. Each pendant is photographed individually because the patina varies so much between stones, so the piece you see is the piece you receive.
