Gold & Silver Israeli Necklaces Handcrafted in Jerusalem
There is a distinct visual signature to jewelry made in Israel. Decades of Yemenite goldsmiths, Bukharian silversmiths, North African Jewish artisans, and graduates of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design have shaped a national style that is hard to mistake for jewelry produced anywhere else. An Israeli necklace, even a simple one, usually carries one or more of those signatures: a filigree texture, a Hebrew letter, a stone from the region, a symbol from Jewish tradition.
Our Israeli necklace collection is organized to make those signatures easy to find. The Yemenite section features filigree pendants, granulated chains, and woven-thread centerpieces in the tradition of the silversmiths of San'a, who brought their craft to Israel in the 1950s. The contemporary section features pieces from designers based in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the Galilee, often combining smooth gold with a single dramatic stone or asymmetric geometric forms. The symbol section gathers necklaces built around Star of David, Hamsa, Chai, Mezuzah, and Shema Israel pendants, all of which have a particular Israeli sensibility when produced locally versus produced abroad.
Materials include solid 14K and 18K gold (yellow, white, and rose), hand-stamped sterling silver, and frequent combinations with stones native to Israel. Eilat stone (the blue-green national stone of Israel), Roman glass (iridescent fragments from archaeological excavations), and ancient coins (struck in the Holy Land between the second century BCE and the second century CE) all appear regularly in this collection. Several of our most popular Israeli necklaces feature a Jerusalem skyline silhouette in two-tone gold, set above a backdrop of Roman glass or Eilat stone.
Hebrew name necklaces, handled in detail in our dedicated collection, are also represented here. Custom Israeli necklaces can be designed from the ground up; our workshop regularly produces one-of-a-kind pieces commissioned by customers visiting our Jerusalem boutique or commissioning by email from overseas.
Every Israeli necklace is made to order in our Jerusalem workshop and shipped worldwide with a certificate of authenticity. Chain length can be customized at checkout, and engraving on the reverse adds a Hebrew name, date, or dedication. Our team is available to help match a design to a recipient, an occasion, or a specific symbolic intent.
