Product Description
This amazing historical pendant is made of a heavy sterling silver setting with a large silver bail fit for a chain of your choice. The pendant features an authentic bronze Procurators of ancient Judea coin. This coin is dated back to the first century CE, to the time when Judea was under Roman rule. The coin has a large palm leaf in its center. Some say the leaf represents Israel as it is a typical site in the country, while others believe the palm leaf is actually a ‘lulav’, one of the four species which are used on the festive days of Succot.
This is a great way to connect to Israel’s ancient history of two thousand years. Wearing a jewel with an authentic coin from the time the Second temple still stood is a feeling second to none. This makes our procurators coin pendant as well as all our ancient coin jewelry, such an incredible purchase.
Certificate of authenticity is available.
Please note: Due to the authentic and ancient nature of the coin, your item may appear slightly different than the image shown.
