What shipping methods are available?
For orders up to $199:
Registered Mail – $9.99, delivery within 14-21 business days after shipping.
DHL Express – $29.99, delivery within 3-5 business days after shipping
Fedex Overnight – $45.00, only when the item is in stock.
For orders $200 and up:
Registered Mail – FREE, delivery within 14-21 business days after shipping.

How long will it take to get my package?
Depending on which method of shipping you’ve chosen, it will take 2-3 weeks using registered mail and 5-7 days using express shipping.

How do I track my order?
We always include a tracking number and a web address where you can track your package in the shipping email that is sent with every order.
What if my order gets lost or damaged during shipping?
Every item leaves our store after being reviewed for Quality Assurance. However, in the rare event that an item gets lost or damaged during shipping – we will cover the loss/damage. This very seldom happens, but if it does – let us know and we’ll make sure to fix the damage or replace the item.

Do I need an account to place an order?
You do not need an account to place an order. All you have to do is select “proceed to checkout without creating an account.”
You will still be asked to provide your shipping and billing address.
My package should have arrived by now... What should I do?
If you ordered via registered mail and it has been more than 3 weeks since your package was mailed, or if you ordered via express mail and it has been more than 7 days since your package was mailed – contact us and we’ll look into the shipping delay immediately.
We do our best to make sure packages arrive promptly, but there are some circumstances that are beyond our control: bad weather, airport or postal service strikes, or other Superior Forces. We thank you in advance for your understanding in these cases.
Returning an item
Can I return an item I bought from Baltinester Jewelry?
Yes – Any item, excluding custom orders, can be returned for a full refund or exchange. See our Return Policy section for complete instructions.
Is there a time frame for returning an item?
Yes – Returned items must be sent back to us no later than 30 days after you receive them.
How should I send the item back to you?
Are there items that cannot be returned?
Yes – items that cannot be returned are: items that have been custom made, engraved, personally inscribed, used, damaged, improperly packaged, altered, or resized by a jeweler other than Baltinester.

How do I know my personal information will be kept private?
The information you fill out in various forms on the website is used ONLY so that we can be in touch with you and to facilitate your order. Under no conditions does Baltinester share your personal information with anyone!
What about my credit card number – is that safe?

Where are your products made?
All our products are handcrafted in Israel, by gifted Israeli artists and jewelers. When you buy from us, you know you’re buying from Israel.
Can I request a custom made order?
No request is too great! We want our customers to be fully satisfied. Therefore, if you wish to change a product to make it your own, just ask! Whether you want to change the kind of gemstone, the shape of a bail, or the chain of a pendant, we can always consult with our designers to confirm that it is technically possible.

Customers will receive an email informing them that their order has been shipped, the package tracking number, and a web address where the package can be tracked.
Most of our Jewelry and Judaica is in permanent stock and is shipped 2-3 days after receiving the order. Items that are out of stock are ordered immediately and shipped directly upon arrival.
Shipping to a different address than your own:
If you want to send a gift item to a different address than your own, please check the “Shipping address is different than Billing address” box and fill in the shipping address. This checkbox is located in the “Order Information” section of the Shopping Cart.
Shipping to multiple addresses:
It is possible to ship products to multiple addresses. If you wish to do so – please let us know through the “Contact Us” web-form and we’ll advise you on how to fill out the shipping information. If you have any special requests regarding shipping, please write them in the “comments” box in the Shopping Cart.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
We use the following carriers to deliver your orders:

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
We invite you to check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
Sometimes, due to unexpected circumstances, it may take longer for packages to arrive. These circumstances may include: bad weather, strikes at the airport or postal service, holiday season when mail takes longer to be sorted, any other Superior Force, etc. We do our best to ensure that packages arrive on time, but some things are out of our control. In any case, if you feel that your package is delayed beyond the expected time, please contact us and we’ll look into the cause immediately. Refunds and Exchanges
Your satisfaction is important to us.
As such, we work hard to ensure that all items that leave our store are of the finest quality. If, however, there is ever a problem with one of our products, it can be mailed to us for repair, exchange, or refund.
Items you wish to return must be sent back to us no later than 14 days after receiving the product.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for a refund or exchange after following these steps:
- If you wish to return an item, you must contact our customer service department prior to mailing the item through the Contact Us web form, within the 14-day period after receiving the item, and receive specific mailing instructions from our customer service department.
(Depending on the item being returned, a package sent incorrectly may be held by customs, a possibility we always try to avoid).
- Mail the returned item in protective packaging to ensure safe return shipment.
- Once received and reviewed, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and your refund will be issued to your original method of payment.
- Should the customer elect to exchange the item for another item of a different price, an additional charge or a partial refund will be applied.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for the processing of your return.
Returns are subject to the following conditions:
- Items sent back to Baltinester Jewelry without contacting our customer service department prior to mailing will be refused return and will not be refunded.
- Items must be sent back to us no later than 14 days after receipt by the customer. After 14 days, return will be refused.
- Items must be sent back in protective packing materials, including all original documents and tags.
- Items must be unused and in the same condition you received it.
- If the item is returned damaged or missing parts, not through the fault of Baltinester, the cost of repair will be deducted from the total refund.
- Shipping and insurance fees are non-refundable.
- The refunded sum will be the total amount paid, minus shipping fees, and a restocking fee equal to 10% of the returned item cost.
- If the returned item is improperly labeled or packaged, collect-shipment costs or custom-release costs may be charged. In such a case, the cost may be deducted from the refund. If the charges exceed the actual refund amount, Baltinester Jewelry will refuse to pay such charges. To avoid this, the customer must contact Baltinester Jewelry before returning item for exact return instructions.
- Please note that the following items are non-refundable and cannot be returned: items that are custom made, with diamonds or engraved, personally inscribed, used, damaged, improperly packaged, altered, or resized by a jeweler other than Baltinester Jewelry. Included in this are gold and Jewish wedding rings that are all custom made to size, per order.
Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Fine jewelry is meant to last. With the proper care you can keep your jewels shining for generations to come.
Although gold is a noble metal (meaning it’s resistant to corrosion and oxidation), it can still be susceptible to natural wear and tear.
The safest way to clean and polish your gold jewelry is by taking it to a local jewelry store. Certain soaps can create a film or cause tarnish, which is not worth the risk! Most jewelers will be happy to clean it for you for free or at a low cost.
White gold is slightly different, as its white color comes from a plating of rhodium. Over time the rhodium can get rubbed away and your jewelry will start to look more yellow (the natural color of gold). When this happens, a jeweler can easily re-plate it for you to bring it back to its full white gold luster.
While silver is a beautiful and versatile choice for jewelry, it can become tarnished easily over time. The best way to prevent tarnish is to simply wear it! The natural oils in your skin keep the jewelry clean and shiny. However it’s fairly easy to polish your silver when needed. You can purchase inexpensive silver polish cloths, or use any lint-free microfiber cloths. Polish using long back and forth motions, not circular, which can magnify any tiny scratches. You can use a cotton swab for the small detailed places.
Some silver jewelry has parts to it that are intentionally oxidized, to add detail and depth to the piece. Make sure when polishing not to polish away any intentional oxidation.
For very valuable or fragile pieces, we recommend taking it to a professional silver cleaner.
Diamonds measure a 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making them the hardest naturally occurring substance on Earth. They can therefore handle a more strenuous form of cleaning, although that should rarely be necessary. For a general cleaning, all that is needed is some warm soapy water and a small brush. Should an extensive cleaning be necessary, we recommend taking your ring to a local jewelry store and requesting for it to be cleaned in their ultrasonic cleaner. This type of cleaning is only appropriate for metals, diamonds, and certain gemstones which measure high on the Mohs scale.
Always store diamonds and all fine jewelry in a safe place, ideally a cushioned box or pouch.
While some gemstones are quite hard and durable, others are soft and require sensitive care. It’s important to ascertain the type of stone you have and any special requirements it may need.
Sensitive gems include pearls and opals, among others. These softer stones should be cleaned using a very soft brush and stored in dry, dark places. Too much direct sunlight can eventually damage or darken the gem.
Always store your gemstone jewelry in a dark pouch or jewelry case. Without the proper care, your gemstones can become unintentionally scratched. When stored and worn properly, your fine jewelry should last for many many years to come.
You have bought a new piece of dazzling Roman glass Jewelry. Here are a few very important guidelines on how to care for your jewelry in order to keep those Roman glass colors shining and glistening for the next 2000 years. The glass – being made of organic matter – continues to react with its environment. Just as water, heat, oil, and other elements affected the glass in the past, they may continue to do so in the present. When you need to clean your Roman glass jewelry, polish the silver or gold with a cloth but try to avoid the glass.
- Don’t get the Roman glass wet. Always take off Roman Glass jewelry before you shower
- Avoid contact between Roman glass and any type of body lotion or hand cream
- Avoid contact between the Roman glass and hairspray or perfume. Always put the hairspray or perfume on first, wait a few minutes for the spray to evaporate and only then put on the jewelry.
- Try to avoid touching the Roman glass with your fingers as much as possible.
With relatively minimal effort, you can keep your fine jewelry and Judaica sparkling in perfect condition!
